Every injector has an adjustment code. It is visible at the top, C2I numerical code consisting of 16 digits (the newer ones have C3I-C4I 20 digits). The injector is calibrated with this code because of inaccuracies occuring during the production process. To enable the perfect operation of the engine, this code has to be inserted into the control unit of the vehicle when the injector is changed or fixed.
